Cork Jazz

We take the  Guinness Jazz Festival very seriously @ Bodega.  The last few years have seen some big names and quality acts grace us with their presence here  in Cornmarket Street. Acts such as Get the blessing, Gold fish,  Mitch Winehouse  to name a few. This year we are setting the bar even higher!

Friday.

6pm – Beat and Blow

8pm -  Kings Go Forth
Here at last is a band creating its own immediately identifiable sound from a broad palette of classic R&B (mid-Sixties Chicago, early-Seventies Philadelphia, and other sources far more obscure); setting that sound to Black Wolf s timeless lyrics of love and loss, despair and hope. The soul revival has not produced another band with a vocal blend so rich in tone and feeling.
